    SEMINAR AND TRAINING

TO: ALL MEMBERS OF MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA

    Dear Sir/Madam,

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN MAN/IFC PRIVATE ENTERPRISE PARTNERSHIP FOR AFRICA TRAINING WORKSHOP ON ESSENTIALS OF STRATEGIC MARKETING MANAGEMENT(August 30- 31 2007).

The prevailing economic environment in Nigeria is making it increasingly difficult for manufacturers to market their products especially against the backdrop of liberalized import policy actively promoted by the World Trade Organization (WTO), the recently introduced ECOWAS Common External Tariff (CET) and the ECOWAS-EU Economic Partnership Agreement under consideration. These developments have compounded Nigeria's market environment earlier characterized by consistent decline in consumer spending and rising build - up of inventory because of low sales. The challenge thrown up by these developments is that ability to push manufactured products in the market place has become a major strategic asset for many companies.

In appreciation of the critical role of marketing to corporate survival, the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation-PEP Africa has put together a team of experts to facilitate a two-day workshop on ESSENTIALS OF STRATEGIC MARKETING MANAGEMENT from August 30- 31, 2007, at Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Km 12/13, Abakaliki Expressway, Emene Industrial Layout, Enugu State.
