    INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

    MAN has made appreciable progress in the building of relationship with international bodies such as:
    • United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
    • United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)
    • World Bank
    • International Finance Corporation (IFC)
    • African Project Development Facility
    • Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency
    • Fredrick Neauman Foundation
    • Japanese External Trade Organization
    • US Corporate Council on Africa
    • Centre for Imports from the Developing Countries Netherlands
    • Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)
    • Confederation of Danish Industries (DI)
    • Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) as well as some foreign missions and embassies.
    These organizations are assisting in the capacity building of our Association aimed at enhancing membership services and stimulating export of locally made products, facilitating sustainable economic growth through dissemination of business information and creating joint venture arrangements.

    CAPACITY BUILDING

    MAN has commenced the process of establishing a Resource Centre in line with MAN Millennium Project. The Resource Centre will be equipped to offer consultancy services particularly, to Small and Medium Industries in the following areas:
    • Preparation of Business Plan
    • Business diagnosis/due diligence
    • Financial structuring
    • Project Profiting
    • Matchmaking and linkages
    • Database on technology offers and request
    • Website
    • Manpower Training
    • Library Services

    PATRONAGE OF MADE-IN-NIGERIA PRODUCTS

    MAN launched a media campaign on patronage of Made-In-Nigeria products and this successfully triggered a follow-up campaign by the Federal Government.

    These have formed the major plank of our contribution to the development of the manufacturing sector in Nigeria.
